Sloping Blocks

Insulbrick ICFs are ideal for sloping sites for the following reasons:

• Light weight form work- easy manouvering around sites with difficult access
• Walls can act as retaining walls or can be used to suspend the lower side of the structure to level the construction area.

Speak to our people about your project. Options include cutting into the slope, erecting an ICF wall and backfilling against the wall. This helps to create additional floor area without encroaching on the land area. It also produces an incredibly insulated area basically under the ground to enjoy. Another alternative is to build a wall on the lower side of the site to suspend the floor either by joist or concrete slab therefore requiring only the excavation of the footing.
